Vietnam veteran Arthur Druey does not see a way out of the constant
depression that his every day life evolved into. In an impulsive act, he
decides to join his pal Ian Fraschetti on a trip to Italy.. Italy,
where their first mutual love lives. But the fiercely temperamental
young woman has changed and has some surprises in store for them: she
took the veil and looks after the young child Keo. This Cambodian
refugee, illegally in the country, has but one desire: to discover the
United States, the country of Arthur and Ian. The little girl is
immediately adopted by the threesome who are prepared to do the
