A young, orphaned mouse arrives at Giverny on a beautiful spring day. In the
home of Monet the painter, he finally finds a place to live, friends, family and
a sense of purpose. He wants to become a painter! He works for Rémi, an
old squirrel painter, who is talented but too traditional for the fashions of the
day. In exchange for his efforts, Rémi teaches him to paint. He also meets a
feisty young mouse named Mia and her family, who take him under their wing.
Musnet not only discovers Monet’s work, but also Monet’s cat, who chases
him all over the place!
