New York, 1990. Pavel runs a tattoo parlor. Azami, whom he has taken under his wing, has become a police officer and bodybuilder. During a police intervention, she discovers a baby abandoned in a trash can. Incapable of giving birth due to damage caused by self-medication, she decides to adopt the child. To protect it, she’ll follow the trail of a baby trafficking operation, which appears to be linked to a mysterious gang of women who devour their enemies. Strangely, the ghosts of the Gulag in which Pavel grew up seem to be at the heart of these atrocities. As if the world of the Gulag, with its codes and violence, has re-emerged on the streets of New York.
