A very sensitive story, somewhere between graphic novel and tale of initiation!
As they are moving out, Nora’s parents leave their daughter at her uncle’s house
in the middle of the countryside. Very unhappy and bored at first, the young girl
spends her time with a pregnant cat and finds a shelter in a huge tree. From
there, she watches the surroundings and notices a lonely old woman… Many
questions cross Nora’s mind: why is this woman alone? What is she waiting
for? Where are we before birth? Imaginary people living in the tree, as well as
her uncle, will try to guide the young girl through her thought process.
