Behind an invisible door, another world, another reality…Winter of 1771, Andre de Beltoise, counsellor to the young Prince of Conde, tries to reach Gueret. Caught in a violent storm, he finds refuge in a castle inhabited by a certain Baron Brazenac, a man of high culture afflicted by disease. Beltoise leaves the next day and the two men promise one another to stay in touch; the baron soon fulfills his promise and starts writing letters to his new friend in which he shares the details of his life. He writes of an unexpected discovery he made while walking on the grounds of his estate: his saw his horse gradually disappear, as if he were being swallowed by an invisible roadblock. Intrigued and curious, the baron tries to “get swallowed” himself in order to discover the other side of this “invisible door”, a world yet unknown…without realizing it, Brazenac discovered a time warp. Intrigued by Brazenac’s letters, his friend Beltoise decides to visit.Could this door be the gateway to Hell? Or rather that to Paradise… of another time?
