Alexis is a lively, ebullient saxophonist, who is leading a bohemian life in
Paris at the beginning of the ’60s — but he has just bee dumped by his
girlfriend Mary, who is tired of his escapades. Alexis takes off after
her in his beloved Peugeot 203 convertible, heading for Dinan, where he
thinks Mary has gone. On the road, he will encounter a gallery of
colorful characters, travel through magnificent landscapes and unique
villages, drink a lot, get married (fraudulently), barely escape being
beaten up, suffer terrible nightmares, and, finally, arrive at Dinan…
