Joseph Gillain, aka Jijé, sadly passed away on 20th June 1980. Over the course of a life dedicated to painting and comics, he mentored some of the biggest names in modern comics (Franquin, Morris, Will, Peyo, Roba…) and brought to life many famous characters, including Jerry Spring, Jean Valhardi, Tanguy and Laverdure and more. He was truly one of the most significant artists in the history of Franco-Belgian comics. Discover the complete works of this great artist, along with biographical details about his life and personal quotes about his own work, in these “Tout Jijé” collections. As well as being his biggest albums, they also contain a number of short stories and a host of unpublished drawings from the master himself.
