As with Souvenirs de l’empire de l’atome and L’Été Diabolik, the authors have gone back in time to revisit the imaginary worlds of a certain period, this time it’s the 1980s. It’s a heady mix of visual styles, reminiscent of Twin Peaks, David Cronenberg, Steven King, Tron, and illustrations from the works of H.P. Lovecraft!
Under the light of a full moon, a group of teens have got together at a creepy cemetery to play the call of Chtulhu, a game that drives you crazy! So crazy, in fact, that after the game is suddenly interrupted by the cemetery’s janitor, it continues to play out in the teens’ everyday lives, and may just lead them to a bloody end!
But first, let’s meet the characters of this crazy story: Samuel, the games master and our hero; Marie, his childhood friend who’s scared of her dad; Oriane, has a glass eye and likes to think of herself as a witch; Melusine, her dad’s a druid and she’s got his talents; Dani, a computer genius and childhood friend of Samuel’s, they haven’t seen each other for two years…
