Wayne Shelton, American – commissioned by Mr. Quayle, president of the
Texas Investment Trust, has been asked to help a French lorry driver to
escape from the Zaporitska fortress in Kalakjistant, where he was
imprisoned following an accident which caused the death of a Russian
general. This escape should allow the lifting of the embargo issued by
France, following this incident and thus make it possible for Quayle to
exploit a new rare resource: germanium. But in this adventure, it is
necessary to be wary of the competitors who would do anything to break
up the operation.
