Fifty years have passed. The Indians have been forced into special reserves, under horrific living conditions. In this environment, Amos, a sixteen year old Sioux torn from his cultural roots, is confronted by the ghosts of his bewildered people: alcoholism, racism, violence, poverty…The adolescent learns that he is the great-great-grand son of «The one who is born twice». Supported by his people, Amos grasps the reality of his healing powers, of the nobility of his race and of the role he could play. There is hope at the end of the red road !
