Everyone is familiar with the magnificent covers of Spirou magazine
created by Franquin, Morris, Jijé, Will, Rosy and Peyo. Yet these
artists also published a multitude of other splendid colour
illustrations on the cover of the Belgian magazine Le Moustique.
They may have gathered dust over the decades in collectors’ archives,
but 200 of these covers have now been brought together in this 312-page
book. Also joining this prestigious list are the names of major authors
such as Sempé, Goscinny, etc.
These illustrations are accompanied by texts that tell the story of these authors who created Spirou magazine.
